Let me begin by saying that I am a big fan of PBTHAL's work (having given up with CD after 30-yrs of trying). Close listening shows that his rips preserve much of the magic that I used to hear from my STD 305M / Hadcock 40 years ago.

However, scanning through this site (and the lovecelery site with a friend's account) reveals the same story: large numbers of dead links and the few that are active are on hosts with 3-50 kb/s speeds that take two-and-a-half days to DL a single LP (or are 'Premium Only'). Apparently, as 'free users' we are "on our own" but WTF is the deal with that? We have to buy Premium access to multiple download sites just to get access (and then when the links aren't dead already?!). What is this -- an Affiliate kickbacks scam? Why not use MEGA if you are truly interested in sharing your work? It's free, super-fast, and permanent. I would love to be part of this but the sites are not really functional currently and that's a great shame for such an extraordinary archive resource...
