That's it... from what I understand, and again, I'm no expert on these things, this version of Highway 61 was kind of a mis-print and that version of Buick was sort of a demo or early mix that somehow made it on to some copies of the vinyl instead of the final mix. I guess it would be pretty rare. If you listen to that song, you can hear that it is a bit raw and doesn't seem to "fit" with the rest of the album, then listen to the normal version, which does sound more finished.

I listened to Romeo Void and Yes from the latest January update yesterday, and I must say, they sound amazing! I'm completely thrilled!

Reflektor gear seems to have advantages over the previous series in terms of sound.

Thank you for archiving these great records! Some great blues including Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, Little Walter's Chess Masters, Taste Live at the Isle of Wight, and Shuggie Otis' Freedom Flight. Shuggie was only 15 years old at the time and this is a jaw dropping classic that even gets five stars on AllMusic. Check it out if you have not heard it. Also, special thanks for the Yardbirds Having a Rave-Up, The Hollies Greatest, Bob Dylan Highway 61 Revisited with From a Buick 6 original mix, Fela Kuti and Africa 70 Everything Scatter and finally Ike White's Changing Times. The Ike White is very interesting and some similarities to the Shuggie Otis album, but Ike recorded this in prison during a life sentence for murder. The album was produced by Jerry Goldstein (War and Sly and the Family Stone) with Santana's Doug Rauch and Greg Errico of Sly and the Family Stone....a very interesting album.

Thanks PB for the 2nd part of January's rips, wasn't expecting a 2nd load to drop this month but immensely grateful for all your hard work! Especially for Replacements, Fugazi, Throwing Muses, Killing Joke, the AP75 press of Fragile and the Quiex press of Allan Holdsworth's I.O.U., can't wait to compare that to your previous rip. Thanks yet again PB for February's new rips! You are spoiling us mate and I'm immensely grateful for all your efforts especially for the Rory Gallagher 'Top Priority' (any Rory is most welcome), the Jeff Beck, King Crimson, Killing Joke and as always the obscure treasures I've never heard of, the J.D. Blackfoot is fantastic. A big shout out for the Rage 'Nice & Dirty' a great band I got to see back in the day their mix of UFO meets Foreigner sadly didn't catch fire with the public, it's a joy to be reacquainted. Thanks again!
