I loved seeing a Fugazi album on the list.  One of my favorite bands.  That was a nice surprise.

The Bauhuas albums are great.  Everything I have listened to since Reflektor started has sounded really phenomenal.

I did the Dark Side of the Moon comparison to the Black Ice EMI, which I thought sounded really great when I first heard it.  I found myself liking the Australian Quad even better.  It seems like a really bright and in your face pressing and the recording is very nice.  What did you guys think of this one?

I also listened to the INXS and Bangles EP so far.  I hadn't heard that EP and think it sounds great.

Thanks for another great list of recordings.  I keep thinking they can't get better, but then a new series starts.

*edit*  Fans of Fugazi and Sonic Youth will probably like the Slint album.

Another cracking batch of tunes! Ween is a proper revelation for me—it’s like a whole new world opened up. As for XTC, it’s just another gem to add to my already sizeable collection (though I’m still missing the Go2 album). The Pretty Things are brilliant, and now we’ve got both volumes of that stellar compilation. I sampled the second volume yesterday—absolutely loved it, especially The Sun! The Flying Lizards are intriguing too. I’ve only downloaded 10 albums so far, but with about 100 more to go, I’ll be happily occupied for countless hours.

I haven't listened to much yet, but this Bob Dylan original mix of Highway 61 must be a pretty rare record (I'm no vinyl expert).  Really nice to see this archived.  I'm listening to the original mix of Buick 6 right now.  Thanks for this.
