As someone who’s dabbled in ripping vinyl for twenty+ years, I found your recent Darko Audio podcast interview to be a revelation.

I nearly fell out my chair when you mentioned ZZ Top’s Tres Hombres album as your first effort.  It was mine also.  Despite the dirty, well worn source vinyl I knew there was something special about the drums.  That bass!

Through the years I’ve gathered slightly more resolving audio equipment and learned my rip results are mostly just… okay.  In the end they’re nothing to write home about.

I have an idea of how much time, dedication, and money was required for you to build this body of work and I’m frankly in awe of the gems you’ve produced.

It is a beauty to hear the art of vinyl ripping masterfully pushed to the limits of perfection.
