PJ - Ten - The Last Linage / AT150ANV Frankencart / Manley Oasis

I usually don't compare, I just grab the latest and use that as "listening copy".
But on one of my favorite album I just has to say my opinion.

My ears finds the Dutch version better than the US. Or is it the "AT150ANV Frankencart / Manley Oasis" / "The Last Linage (Step Up)" setup.

To me the last rip is more "muddy", I'm not a audiophile so maybe I don't know if the term is right 😉
I like the clarity and openness the Dutch or "AT150ANV Frankencart / Manley Oasis" gives, it also gives right amount of bass.

Is it the pressing or the setup? Do I need hearing aid?

I know many hails more bass/punch, I'm clearly not in that league. 😉

I mentioned this one somewhere recently and I thought the Dutch was brighter and the Last rip US is darker, but more how I remember it (probably on casette).  The Dutch, I thought, was also really good, but the other appealed to me maybe on some nostalgia level.

Right now, I’m listening to "Burn Porky Cut " by Deep Purple—ripped using this signal chain DRESSED TO THE NINES LINEAGE, and to me, the detail and sound of the rip are spectacular.

The pressing process and the specific cuts used play a major role; beyond the equipment used for ripping, the pressing itself and the country of origin are decisive factors.

The term "audiophile sound" is often misunderstood—and usually misinterpreted. Do you ever see Keith Richards, Sting, or Eddie Vedder sitting in on a mix, telling the engineer, I want the bass to sound as 'audiophile' as possible"?
