I want to thank you for archiving the 1974  Roy Buchanan In the Beginning album. It was his last Polydor studio album and contains an interesting blend of blues, R&B, and Memphis soul. Some reviews criticize Billy Sheffield’s vocals, but I think they are fine and do not ruin the good vibe of the album.

The 2^nd big thank you is for the first-time archive of the 1970 Jethro Tull Benefit album. Tull’s third album is a favorite and was never good sounding on the various CD releases. The album starts off with three great guitar-driven tunes, only to slow down for me with “Son”. But it picks back up and really showcases Martin Barre on guitar and the rhythm section of Glenn Cornick on bass and Clive Bunker on drums. I really missed Cornick’s bass playing when he left after this album. In fact, as an old timer I was able to enjoy the chronological release of the first three Tull albums and was actually a bit disappointed with Aqualung. To me, it lost the early Tull vibe, but I guess I was in the minority. Thanks again for archiving this great sounding release!
