Hexupload = Threat Name URL: Blacklist

Hello,

I paid for a 30-day premium account at Hexupload and when I tried to download A Momentary Lapse Of Reason (2021 45 RPA), I clicked on the link here, got sent to the  Hexupload page with "Your requested file" at the top with text showing a link (not clickable) and a "Create Download Link" button in the middle.

When I clicked that link it goes to another Hexupload page with "Download is ready" at the top and a "Download Now" button.

When I click on the button my anti-virus software blocks the link due to the actual site (hetbuild860092.takeplcdn.art) being Blacklisted.

Anybody else get this?  If you did, did you unblock it in your anti-virus software and let it through?

Thank you!

You need to disable the anti virus software. I use Chrome, you have to pick no protection under Privacy and Security.

Thank for the quick reply!

Ima scared! 🙂

Not sayin' it was in any way better, but I never get this warning with the previous filehost.

Gonna have to think about this.  Glad I only paid for a month.  Folks shouldn't have to disable any protection to get the job done.

Thanks again jerryC!

Update:  I temporarily disabled my anti-virus and got the goods.  Not really happy about it but it be what it be.

Thanks Pb and jerryC!

I would strongly recommend against disabling any security software when visiting hexupload if you are on Windows.

I'm seeing in Chrome pop-up alerts about my computer being infected. These pop-ups are scareware trying to get gullible people to click the links to get infected with real malware.

I wanted to share a screen capture but the forum software isn't allowing me.
