Thank you for these two albums from way back in the time machine. First is Eden's Children – Sure Looks Real, a 1968 album from a three-piece Boston band that features interesting jazz phrasing amongst the psychedelia. Second is J. D. Blackfoot – The Ultimate Prophecy from 1970. The first half sounds like a heavier Pure Prairie League, (possibly due to PPL's Craig Fuller being one of the band's guitarists), while the second half is an epic suite with great instrumentation and a few odd sections of spoken word and inane lyrics...but that's 1970!

Special thanks for Barrelhouse – Barrelhouse First, a Dutch blues band from 1975 featuring Tineke Schoemaker on vocals and some strong guitar and piano. It's always nice to listen to European blues bands and the different influences that they bring to the sound.

Rounding out my February thanks, is the Foghat Rock and Roll album that along with their debut is a favorite of mine. The Steely Dan – Katy Lied UHQR is the best sounding when compared to the other archives. Finally, I appreciate the Jr. Walker And The Allstars 7 inch singles and Aretha's I Never Loved A Man The Way I Love You.
