The Grateful Dead (always appreciative of a GD archive and their first album displays the beginnings of things to come), Doug Sahm – Groover’s Paradise (good Tex-Mex sound recorded in 1974 with CCR's drummer and bass player), Status Quo – On The Level (a pleasnt surprise as I perceived, SQ as a middle of the read boogie band but this album is full of innovative riffs and will get multiple listens), Attention_ The Pretty Things (good sounding compilation of their early R&B original and cover songs, Wilson Pickett – The Midnight Mover (always great to listen to Wilson Pickett), Alexis Korner’s All Stars – Blues Incorporated (a big surprise and great to have the British father of rhythm and blues in the archive with a mostly instrumental album and some nice vocal work by Herbie Goins), Dr. John, The Night Tripper – Gris-Gris (I really enjoy this stereo version and it takes me back to being in awe of this album when first heard over 50 years ago), Taste – Live Taste (Taste was a great band and Live Taste is one of the few recordings showcasing the band in this setting. This is the best the recording will sound, as I've listening to other sources), Traffic – Mr. Fantasy A great traffic album in glorious mono), Black Heat – No Time To Burn (Surprisingly good funk album by what appears to be a band that fell through the cracks of the music industry)
